Turkish Minister Highlights Accomplishments Amid Century’s Disaster
Transport and Infrastructure Minister and AK Party Trabzon Deputy Candidate Adil Karaismailoglu has visited the earthquake-stricken area of Adiyaman, where he spoke about the disaster and the work that is being done to rebuild the region. Almost all those who demanded food have been given containers or prefabs, he said, adding that the temporary but regular life has started and schools have been opened. Karaismailoglu also pointed out that all transportation systems were being made resistant to earthquakes. During his visit, the minister emphasised the importance of getting cities back on their feet and making plans to improve them. He also spoke about Turkey’s progress and growth thanks to its safe and quality transportation infrastructure, and pledged to pursue a railway-based investment period from now on.
