Turkish Solution to USA Egg Crisis: 15,000 Tons in 7 Months
Yum-Bir President İbrahim Afyon recently shared some important details regarding egg exports from Turkey, particularly to the USA. According to Afyon, Turkey is capable of supplying 15 thousand tons of eggs in just 7-8 months, a quantity that can be easily met. However, there is a concern about the rising prices of exports to the USA.
Currently, the focus is on utilizing the production capacity for the domestic market. Despite this, negotiations with US partners have led to the decision to delay the shipments during the month of Ramadan. The aim is to ensure that existing agreements do not have a significant impact on prices during this period.
