Turkmenistan kicks off beauty and talent competition for female students
The Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, the Ministry of Education, and the Central Council of the Women’s Union of Turkmenistan have announced the annual beauty and talent contest “Talyp gözeli – 2025” among female students of higher educational institutions in the country. The results of the competition will be announced on the eve of International Women’s Day. Participants will showcase their knowledge of national traditions, creative abilities, and labor skills.
During the competition, the girls will have the opportunity to discuss the development opportunities available in Turkmenistan, present songs, poems, and stage performances. They can also choose to communicate in foreign languages. Additionally, contestants will compete in activities such as preparing the Turkmen national dish “unash” by cutting homemade noodles quickly and demonstrating skills in traditional national handicrafts.
The first round of the contest will take place in higher education institutions across the country from February 3 to 24, 2025. Winners of the university-level competitions will advance to the final round in the capital between March 1 and 7.
A jury comprising cultural and art personalities and representatives of the organizing committees will evaluate the participants. Winners of the Grand Prix, as well as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, will be determined based on the cumulative scores. The victors and distinguished participants will receive certificates of honor and special gifts from the organizers.
