Turkmenistan to Launch Electronic Visa System
The State Migration Service of Turkmenistan has announced the initiation of a groundbreaking electronic visa (e-Visa) system aimed at streamlining the visa application process. This ambitious project will feature a fully automated platform for handling visa applications—from document submission to the final issuance of visas.
According to an official announcement published in the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan," the new e-Visa system will automate key processes such as submission, verification, processing, and issuance, significantly simplifying the application procedure for foreign citizens. This initiative forms part of Lot No. 2 in a tender announced by the relevant authorities. The State Migration Service is inviting companies and software developers to participate in developing and implementing the new system. Interested parties can submit proposals at the House of Officers of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat. The participation fee for this tender is set at $200.
Proposals will be accepted until May 22, 2025, during the hours of 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM local time. For further information, interested applicants can contact the following phone numbers: 21-55-44, 70-17-86, 38-00-20, 38-00-34, and 38-00-12.
