11-year-old Nilufar Shuhratova is an impressive young girl who has mastered the English language remarkably well. Not only does she excel in her own studies, but she also volunteers her time to teach English to her peers, younger siblings, and other children in her community. With a passion for language learning, Nilufar has read over 100 literary books in English and continues to expand her knowledge every day.
One of Nilufar’s biggest dreams is to become a student at Harvard University. Considering future career paths, she envisions herself either as a diplomat or a translator, showcasing her ambition and dedication to her goals.
“I spend almost every day in the library, learning English with great enthusiasm,” says Nilufar. Her mother has been a significant influence on her language learning journey, creating a supportive environment that has allowed Nilufar to thrive in her studies. Even at home, English is the primary mode of communication, inspiring her younger siblings to follow in her footsteps and develop a passion for learning languages.
Starting her serious English studies in the third grade, Nilufar’s dedication is evident in her approach to learning. With her parents’ support, who reward her with gifts for completing tasks and provide her with any book she desires, Nilufar’s interest in the language continues to grow. She especially enjoys reading travel-related books, expanding her horizons and exploring new cultures through literature.
Nilufar has her sights set on taking the IELTS exam soon and will sit for the national certification exam in April. Her ultimate goal of studying at Harvard University and becoming an ambassador highlights her determination and ambition to make a difference in the world.
Despite her busy schedule and responsibilities at home, Nilufar remains focused on her studies and ambitions.
