Ambassador of Uzbekistan to South Korea Vitaly Fen Passes Away at 77
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has confirmed the passing of Ambassador Vitaly Fen, who served as the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to South Korea for 25 years. He was 77 years old at the time of his death.
Vitaly Fen was described as an outstanding statesman, a master of sports, and a professional diplomat who dedicated his entire life to serving his country. During his tenure as Ambassador to South Korea, he played a significant role in strengthening the cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea. His many years of service have left a lasting impact on the relationship between the two countries.
In recognition of his contributions, Vitaly Fen was awarded the Order of “Fidokorona xizmatlari uchun” and “Mehnat shuhrati” by Uzbekistan, as well as the Order of “Gwangghwa” by South Korea. Born in Margilan in 1947, Fen’s diplomacy and leadership have been instrumental in fostering positive relations between Uzbekistan and South Korea.
