Andorra has a unique political system known as a diarchy, where it is jointly governed by two co-princes: the Bishop of Urgell (Spain) and the President of France. They serve as guarantors of Andorra’s independence and equal relations with Spain and France. Their powers are limited to participating in drafting international agreements related to internal security and Andorra’s sovereignty.
The meeting between Uzbekistan and Andorra signals a commitment to strengthen ties and explore opportunities for cooperation in various sectors.
