Viral Depiction of “Greater Israel” by Genocidal Minister Sparks Outrage on Social Media
Israeli Minister Bezalel Smotrich recently made controversial remarks about the borders of Israel during his speech in a documentary titled “Israel: Ministers of Chaos” directed by Jerome Sesquin.
During his speech, Smotrich stated that the borders under which Israel dominates will not be limited to their current state. He expressed his desire for a Jewish state governed according to the values of the Jewish people. When asked about the extent of Israel’s sovereignty, Smotrich mentioned the possibility of expanding Israel’s borders.
Referring to the books of Jewish sages, Smotrich mentioned the concept of “Greater Israel” which includes territories beyond the current borders of Israel. These statements have sparked discussions and criticisms on social media, especially considering Smotrich’s previous controversial remarks about the existence of Palestine.
In another event, Finance Minister Smotrich reiterated his stance that there is no people called Palestine and made provocative statements regarding a Palestinian town targeted by Jewish settlers. These remarks led to his diplomatic isolation during his visits to the USA and France.
During a commemoration ceremony in Paris, Smotrich used a map of Israel that included Jordan, drawing attention to the concept of “Greater Israel”. This policy is based on the belief in the “Promised Land” as described in Jewish holy books and aims to expand into territories currently occupied by Palestine, Syria, and Jordan.
Smotrich’s controversial views and statements continue to spark debates and raise concerns both domestically and internationally.
