“Waiting for Announcement of President and Deputy Election Results and Vote Rates in Sivas”
On May 14, 2023, Turkey will hold its Presidential and 28th Term Parliamentary elections. As the day approaches, the country is eager to know when the Sivas election results will be announced. The Chairman of the Supreme Election Board (YSK), Ahmet Yener, shared that 64 million 113 thousand 941 voters, with 60 million 697 thousand 843 being domestic, will be eligible to cast their votes in the upcoming election.
According to the YSK’s statement, the voting process will take place from 08:00 to 17:00 on May 14. Until 18:00, media outlets will be prohibited from making news predictions and comments on the elections and their results. The YSK will then publish news and communiqués regarding the election between 18:00 and 21:00. After 21:00, all broadcasts will be free, and the YSK may set this time earlier.
The temporary results of the presidential election will be announced until 23:59. If there is a delay in announcing the provisional results, the election calendar for candidate replacement will be adjusted accordingly. If no candidate can achieve an absolute majority of valid votes in the first ballot, the second vote of the Presidential Election will be held on Sunday, May 28.
As for the Sivas election results, hopefuls from AK Party, CHP, MHP, IYI Party, TİP, and Green Left Party are vying for the position of Deputy for the 28th term. Details of the outcomes of the Sivas Presidential and Deputy elections in 2023 currently remain unknown and are eagerly awaited.
