ZTE Joins Efforts to Build New Data Centers in Uzbekistan

The Chinese company ZTE expands its presence in Uzbekistan with the opening of a new BPO service center in IT Park. The company’s Senior Vice President, Mei Zhonghua, recently met with Minister Sherzod Shermatov to discuss the future development of their activities in the country.

During the meeting, both parties discussed the successful opening of the BPO center and shared proposals for expanding its operations in the near future. The focus was also on the possibility of opening data centers in Uzbekistan, with particular emphasis on the “green” data processing center project by DataVolt, which began construction in May.

Furthermore, the discussions included plans to enhance the telecom infrastructure in the country. ZTE and the Ministry of Digital Technologies aim to cooperate in improving mobile and wired internet services, enhancing communication quality, and ensuring connectivity to remote areas.

With these developments and collaborations in place, ZTE is poised to play a significant role in advancing technology and services in Uzbekistan.
