10 People Detained in Drug Operations in Edirne and Tekirdağ
Police in Edirne, Turkey, have detained 8 individuals on suspicion of involvement in drug-related activities. During routine inspections in the city center and Keşan district, police officers found various narcotics on the suspects. The procedures for the detained individuals are currently ongoing at the police station.
In a separate operation in Tekirdağ’s Kapaklı district, police arrested two suspects, İ.Ö. and A.K., and conducted searches of their cars and homes. During the searches, authorities seized a blank gun, 375 grams of amphetamine, 187 grams of liquid amphetamine, and 15,500 Turkish lira believed to be obtained from drug trafficking.
The procedures for the two arrested suspects are also continuing at the police station. These efforts are part of the ongoing crackdown on drug use and trafficking in the region, as authorities work to keep communities safe from the harmful effects of illegal substances.
