13 Individuals Arrested in Istanbul for Spreading PKK Propaganda
Istanbul Counter-Terrorism Department teams have launched an investigation into a disturbing incident involving the halay dance being performed alongside the so-called march of the terrorist organization PKK/KCK. This incident took place on the streets of Arnavutköy and Esenyurt, as well as at a wedding in Gaziosmanpaşa.
Furthermore, the teams also looked into a social media post made by a woman who claimed to be listening to an organizational song while driving her vehicle.
After identifying the suspects and their locations, including the female suspect, the teams conducted simultaneous operations at 24 addresses across 7 districts.
As a result of the operation, 13 suspects were apprehended, and digital materials were confiscated. The suspects have been taken to the police station for further processing.
In related news, the Ministry of National Defense announced that a significant amount of weapons and ammunition belonging to terrorists were seized in 6 caves during the Penge-Kilit Operation.
