An Investigation Into Organized Crime Launches in Aksaray, Turkey
The Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has released a statement announcing the launch of an investigation into various crimes, including “establishing, becoming a member and managing an organization to commit crimes”, “drug dealing”, and “laundering of assets resulting from crime”.
According to the statement, a comprehensive approach involving all technical and investigative methods has been taken in the investigation. A total of 159 suspects have been detained in 17 provinces, with 116 of them in Aksaray and 43 in other provinces. The authorities are currently looking into the suspects’ financial transactions and the materials seized during the operation.
