Provincial Police Department Cracks Down on Irregular Immigration in Çavuşbey District
In a recent operation in Çavuşbey District, the Provincial Police Department’s Anti-Immigrant Smuggling and Border Gates Branch teams have successfully apprehended 16 irregular immigrants. The operation was conducted as part of the ongoing efforts to combat irregular migration in the region.
The teams raided a house on 5th Street and found the irregular immigrants of different nationalities hiding inside. Following their capture, the immigrants underwent a health check at Sultan Murat 1st State Hospital before being transferred to the Provincial Directorate of Immigration Management.
