17 Cities on High Alert as Meteorology Issues Evacuation Warning

Meteorology experts have issued warnings for various parts of Turkey due to expected weather conditions. According to the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country will experience partly cloudy skies with occasional showers and thunderstorms in several regions. The areas affected include the northeast of Marmara, the Eastern Mediterranean, the north of Central Anatolia, the Black Sea, the north and west of Eastern Anatolia, Istanbul, Ankara, Bitlis, Muş, Bingöl, Adıyaman, and Diyarbakır.

Local strong rainfall is expected in various regions such as the Western Black Sea, Amasya, Tokat, Çorum, Malatya, Elazığ, Tunceli, Erzincan, Erzurum, Ardahan, Sakarya, and Kocaeli. The ground is expected to experience heavy rainfall, while winds will blow strongly in certain areas. Dust transport is also anticipated in the southeast of Eastern Anatolia and the east of Southeastern Anatolia.

In 14 cities, a yellow warning has been issued, while an orange warning is in place for 3 cities. These warnings are crucial to ensure the safety of residents in the affected regions. Additionally, the air temperature is expected to decrease significantly in the inner regions, with no significant changes in other areas.

It is important for residents in Zonguldak, Bartın, and Kastamonu to be cautious as heavy rainfall and storms are expected in the coming days. Local rain is also forecasted in Istanbul, with temperatures varying across different regions.
