18 Arrests Made in DAESH Operation across 5 Provinces
The fight against terrorism continues in Turkey as authorities carry out operations in 5 provinces to apprehend individuals linked to the DAESH armed terrorist organization. These operations, which were conducted in Kahramanmaraş and other provinces, resulted in the arrest of 18 foreign national suspects. Among the suspects, 11 were captured in Kahramanmaraş, 3 in Hatay, 2 in Gaziantep, 1 in Kilis, and 1 in Kayseri.
In addition to the arrests, authorities also seized various items during the search of the suspects’ homes and annexes. These included 24 mobile phones, 19 SIM cards, 1 notebook, 8 memory cards, 4 USB sticks, 1 coin, and 4 drug paraphernalia.
Following their procedures at the courthouse, all 18 individuals taken into custody were subsequently arrested. This demonstrates the ongoing commitment of Turkish authorities to combat terrorism and ensure the safety and security of the country and its citizens.
