2 More Arrested in Last-Minute Development of Kartalkaya Fire Investigation

Two more individuals have been arrested in connection with the Kartalkaya fire investigation, bringing the total number of detainees to 21.

Special Provincial Administration Secretary General Sirri Köstereli and Deputy Secretary General Bünyamin Bal have been arrested by the court as part of the ongoing investigation. Köstereli has been in his position since December 24, 2013.

Previously, a total of 28 suspects were detained in connection with the fire, with 19 of them being arrested and 9 released, 8 of which were placed under judicial control.
