20 PKK Members Neutralized in Counterterrorism Operation

The Turkish Ministry of National Defense has reported that 20 terrorists were neutralized in their latest operations against terrorist targets in northern Iraq and Syria. The airstrikes and ground fire support vehicles were carried out in response to an attack in the Claw-Lock Operation area, which resulted in the martyring of heroic comrades. These operations aimed to eliminate terrorist attacks against the Turkish people and security forces and to ensure border security.
The Ministry confirmed that 29 targets, including caves, bunkers, shelters, and oil facilities utilized by terrorist organizations were destroyed. The Turkish Armed Forces utilized domestic and national ammunition, taking all necessary precautions to prevent harm to innocent people, friendly elements, historical and cultural assets, and the environment.
The successful neutralization of terrorists was achieved without harm to the Air Force planes, which safely returned to their bases after destroying the terrorist targets in northern Iraq and Syria. These developments come after a recent attack in the Claw-Lock Operation area and demonstrate the Turkish government’s commitment to fighting terrorism and ensuring the safety and security of the country and its citizens.
