24 Students in Denizli Poisoned by Food

Twenty-four students at a school in Denizli, Turkey fell ill after eating chicken rice that was distributed for charity. The incident occurred at the Businessmen Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in the Merkezefendi district. The students complained of nausea, dizziness, and abdominal pain in the evening after consuming the food at noon.

Upon receiving notification from the students, medical teams were immediately dispatched to the school. Twenty-four students were taken to nearby hospitals under suspicion of poisoning. Health Directorate teams collected samples of the food for examination. Thankfully, it was reported that the students who were hospitalized were in good health and were subsequently discharged.
