293 Individuals Arrested in Narcocelik-39 Operation Across 44 Provinces
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya has announced the success of the Narkoçelik-39 operation, which targeted individuals involved in the production and sale of drugs. The operation was conducted in 59 provinces with the collaboration of 681 teams, 1876 personnel, 9 aircraft, and 26 detector dogs.
During the raids carried out as part of the operation, a total of 470 kilograms of drugs and 4 million 945 thousand 832 drug pills were seized. Additionally, 293 drug dealers were detained in connection with the operations.
In a statement, Minister Yerlikaya emphasized the government’s strong commitment to eradicating drug dealers and street vendors from the country. He also provided detailed information regarding the operations conducted in various provinces.
The successful outcome of the Narkoçelik-39 operation highlights the government’s ongoing efforts to combat drug-related crimes and ensure public safety and security.
