The Meteorology Department has reported that a 3.8 magnitude earthquake occurred this morning, with the epicenter located in the sea south of Cyprus.
According to the statement released by the department, the earthquake, measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale, struck at 07.34 today, about 87 km away from the Lefke Earthquake Station.
Upon initial assessment, it was determined that the epicenter of the earthquake was located at coordinates 34.33 north and 32.68 east, approximately 8 km deep in the sea south of Cyprus.
