
30 People Arrested in DHKP-C/MLKP Operation Across 9 Provinces

A Joint Operation Leads to the Capture of Suspects Funding Terrorist Organization in Turkey
A successful joint operation coordinated by the Izmir Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Izmir Provincial Gendarmerie Command, and the MİT Directorate has resulted in the capture of 30 out of 40 suspects who were allegedly financing a terrorist organization. The operation, which focused on 9 provinces centered in Izmir, aimed to dismantle the financial support system of the terrorist group.
According to reports, out of the remaining 10 suspects, 5 were found to be abroad, 2 were already in prison, and efforts are currently ongoing to apprehend the remaining 3 suspects. The coordinated effort between law enforcement agencies showcases a strong determination to combat terrorism and disrupt its funding sources.
