34 Terrorist Targets Destroyed in Northern Iraq as MSB Calls for Continued Action
The Ministry of National Defense has announced that a successful air operation in northern Iraq has resulted in the destruction of 34 terrorist targets. In a statement issued by the Ministry, it was emphasized that the operation was carried out to neutralize PKK/KCK and other terrorist elements in order to protect the public and security forces, as well as to maintain border security.
The air operation, which took place on October 24 at 23:30, targeted caves, bunkers, shelters, warehouses, and facilities used by terrorist organizations. The Ministry reported that these targets were considered to contain terrorists at a responsible level and needed to be destroyed to prevent further terrorist attacks.
During the operation, a significant number of terrorists were neutralized using domestic and national ammunition. The Turkish Armed Forces have reaffirmed their commitment to fighting terrorism relentlessly and ensuring the security and survival of the country and its people. Precautions were taken during the operation to minimize harm to civilians, friendly forces, historical and cultural sites, and the environment.
