
37 arrested in “Cage” operation targeting organized crime organizations

Two organized crime groups were dismantled in a major police operation across multiple provinces in Turkey. Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya revealed the success of the operation on his social media account, sharing that the “Cage-50” operations targeted criminal organizations in 9 different provinces, with a focus on Aydın and Hatay.
During the simultaneous raids, a total of 37 suspects linked to the organized crime groups were captured, including the leaders of the criminal organizations. The Minister praised the efforts of law enforcement in taking down these dangerous groups and ensuring the safety and security of the public.
The operation serves as a significant blow to organized crime in the region, sending a strong message that criminal activities will not be tolerated.
