39 Suspects Arrested in KISKAÇ-27 Operation against FETÖ in 17 Provinces
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared the success of the Kıskaç operations in a recent social media post. A total of 39 suspects were arrested in the “CLIPSE-27” operations carried out in 17 provinces against the Fethullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ).
In his statement, Minister Yerlikaya emphasized the government’s determination to combat terrorist organizations and their collaborators. He assured the public that operations against FETÖ members will continue until they are brought to justice.
The operations, coordinated by the General Directorate of Security TEM Department, the Intelligence Presidency, and the KOM Presidency, targeted individuals operating within different structures of the organization, including military secret, security secret, current, and financial. It was found that they communicated through payphones and used the organization’s encrypted communication program ByLock. Additionally, many of the suspects had prior criminal records related to FETÖ investigations.
Following the arrests, a significant amount of digital evidence was seized by law enforcement authorities. Minister Yerlikaya commended the police officers involved in the operations, praising their bravery and dedication to protecting the nation. He expressed his gratitude and prayed for their safety as they continue their important work.
