3D Hungarian Space Cabin Unveiled – See the Stunning Photos

A new VR space cabin developed entirely in Hungary was unveiled in Budapest on Thursday. The SpaceBuzz-HU cabin, equipped with VR technology, is designed to offer virtual space travel experiences and will be provided free of charge to Hungarian schools as part of an educational initiative focused on representing the fragility of our planet.

Orsolya Ferencz, the ministerial commissioner responsible for space research at the foreign ministry, highlighted that SpaceBuzz will allow students to simulate the operations of the International Space Station. The goal of the educational program is to engage students in topics related to nature, environmental conservation, natural sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

The project has received 9 million forints (approximately EUR 23,000) in support from the ministry. The first VR space cabin, capable of accommodating up to 12 people, is expected to be completed by the first half of 2025, coinciding with the planned space mission of Hungarian astronaut Tibor Kapu, as stated by István Zentai, chairman of the SpaceBuzz Hungary foundation.

The innovative VR space cabin is part of efforts to inspire and educate young minds about space exploration and the importance of preserving our planet. The initiative aims to spark curiosity and interest in scientific subjects among students while fostering a sense of responsibility towards the environment.

With the unveiling of this groundbreaking VR technology, Hungary is taking a significant step towards advancing educational opportunities and promoting awareness of space exploration and sustainability. This initiative is an exciting development that will inspire and educate the next generation of innovators and conservationists.
