5 Arrested in FETÖ Marriage Scheme Investigation across 4 Provinces
The Provincial Police Department Anti-Terrorism Branch in Turkey has successfully carried out an operation against marriage structuring by the FETÖ/PDY organization. Using code names, the team followed suspects involved in the terrorist organization’s marriage structure and conducted simultaneous raids across 4 provinces in Gaziantep.
As a result of the operation, five suspects were arrested for their involvement in the marriage structuring of the terrorist group, and organizational documents were seized during the search. The suspects are currently undergoing legal proceedings.
The FETÖ/PDY organization is known for its involvements in various terrorist activities, including assassinations, bombings, and coups. The Turkish government has taken strict measures against the group in recent years, resulting in the arrest of thousands of people associated with the organization.
The success of this operation marks another victory in Turkey’s fight against terrorism and highlights the efforts of the Provincial Police Department Anti-Terrorism Branch in ensuring the safety and security of the public.
