5-Year-Old Boy Seriously Injured in Dog Attack in Adıyaman
A 5-year-old boy named Osman Can Yasılak was attacked by 5 stray dogs while playing in the Gölbaşı Asphalt neighborhood today at noon. The incident took place as Osman Can was playing with his cousins in the neighborhood, and the dogs caused injuries to his head, shoulders, and legs. Fortunately, the child’s screams alerted people in the area who intervened and managed to remove the dogs from him.
Emergency services were called to the scene, and Osman Can was first taken to Gölbaşı State Hospital for initial treatment. Following the administration of tetanus and rabies vaccines, the child was then transferred to Gaziantep for plastic surgery. He is currently in intensive care at a private hospital in Gaziantep.
The mother of Osman Can, Dilara Yasılak, expressed her shock and anger at the incident, emphasizing that her child was attacked due to uncontrolled stray dogs. She stated that they would start a legal battle to ensure justice for her son.
Medical professionals involved in Osman Can’s treatment, including Brain and Nerve Surgery Specialist Operator Semih Celik and Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist Operator XUDU Xudiyev, assured that the child’s condition is stable and that necessary treatments are being administered to ensure his recovery.
