50 Dead in Israeli Hospital Attack in Gaza
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza has released a statement revealing the devastating impact of Israeli air strikes on civilian infrastructure in the region. According to the statement, the Israeli army conducted bombings around Kemal Advan Hospital in the north of Gaza, resulting in the loss of 50 lives, including 5 medical personnel.
Two healthcare workers, Abdulmecid Ebu el-Ayş and Mahir el-Acrami, tragically lost their lives in the attack near the hospital. Shockingly, their bodies remain on the street as they cannot be recovered due to the ongoing conflict. The Ministry of Health has called on the international community to intervene and protect the civilian population in Gaza against further Israeli attacks.
Furthermore, reports indicate that Israel has been implementing a plan known as the “Generals’ Plan” with the aim of destroying northern Gaza. This plan involves forcibly displacing Palestinians from the region, followed by a siege to prevent essential resources like food, fuel, and clean water from entering the area. As a result, civilians are faced with the grim choice of either surrendering or risking death.
Since October 7, Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip have led to the deaths of 45,399 Palestinians, including thousands of children and women, with over 107,000 people sustaining injuries. The destruction of civilian infrastructure, including hospitals and educational institutions, has compounded the humanitarian crisis in the region.
As the conflict continues to escalate, it is imperative for the international community to step in and broker a peaceful resolution to prevent further loss of life and suffering in Gaza. The indiscriminate bombings and targeting of civilian areas must cease to ensure the safety and well-being of the Palestinian population.
