5th Annual Police Basketball Tournament Tips Off – BRTK
The 5th Inter-Directorate Police Basketball Tournament kicked off today as part of the 60th anniversary of the Police Organization and Police Week celebrations. The event is being held at the Atatürk Sports Hall, featuring 6 teams competing in exciting matches.
The tournament started with an opening ceremony where Police General Director Kasım Kuni took the first shot. Throughout the day, teams competed in group matches, with Nicosia Police Department and Police Special Operations Directorate advancing from Group A, and Kyrenia Police Department and Narcotics and Political Police Directorate progressing from Group B to the quarter-finals.
Tomorrow will see the quarter-final matches, with the tournament culminating in the third-place and final matches on Monday. Excitement is running high as the teams battle it out on the basketball court for glory and victory. Stay tuned for more updates on this thrilling tournament!
