Illegal Construction on Treasury Land in Çeşme: 6 Detained
In a recent development in İzmir’s Çeşme district, 6 suspects have been detained for carrying out illegal construction excavations on treasury land.
The alleged illegal construction took place in the Ayayorgi location of Çeşme, a popular tourist district in Izmir. Complaints from many concerned citizens prompted an investigation by the Çeşme Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.
As a result of the investigation, the Çeşme District Police Department took action and detained the 6 suspects who were found to be engaging in illegal construction excavations. Additionally, a work machine was seized during the operation.
Following these developments, the Criminal Court of Peace issued a judicial control order against the suspects, prohibiting them from leaving the country and entering the area.
