63rd Anniversary Celebration of Engineers and Architects’ Union

The 63rd anniversary of the founding of the Union of Chambers of Turkish Cypriot Engineers and Architects (KTMMOB) was celebrated with a reception held at The Elysium Park in Nicosia.

According to a statement made by the Union, plaques were presented to members who completed their 25th and 50th years in the profession, and a new book titled “Birlik-Te Değer” was introduced. The book contains information about the history of KTMMOB and its previous presidents.

The KTMMOB 63rd anniversary reception opened with a speech by Union Chairman Tunç Adanır. A video about unity and struggle was shown, and speeches were made by President Ersin Tatar, 2nd President Mehmet Ali Talat, CTP Chairman Tufan Erhürman, Minister of Labor and Social Security Sadık Gardiyanoğlu, and Cyprus Science and Technical Chamber (ETEK) President Constanti Constantinos.

Following the speeches, the book “Unity is Worth,” prepared by the KTMMOB Publishing Board, was introduced and presented to the previous term chairmen of KTMMOB and the families of those who are deceased. It was a day of celebration and reflection on the accomplishments and progress of the Union over the past 63 years.
