8,000 Tourists Visit Mount Nemrut During Holiday
Mount Nemrut, a popular tourist destination in Turkey, saw a surge in visitors during the Eid al-Adha holiday. Deputy Provincial Culture and Tourism Director Abuzer Gelse announced that around 8 thousand people visited the historical site during the 9-day holiday period.
Gelse encouraged both local and foreign tourists to come and explore the wonders of Mount Nemrut and the Commagene region. He highlighted the holiday density in the area and expressed delight in the increasing number of visitors compared to previous years.
The Deputy Director also noted the significant rise in the number of tourists visiting the ruins of the city following the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş. He emphasized the positive impact of tourism on the region’s economy and cultural heritage.
