8th Annual Student Police Program Announced

The “Student Police” program enters its eighth year, aiming to involve students in crime prevention and ensure the safety of foreigners and tourists. Organized in collaboration with the Police Department and the Tourism Department, this program is a valuable opportunity for students to contribute to their community and enhance their skills.
Last year, 150 students from 21 universities participated in the program. This year, the program will run from June 15 to August 15, offering students a chance to interact with international tourists and improve their language skills. By actively engaging in crime prevention efforts, students not only support the implementation of the “FIVE-YEAR DEVELOPMENT GUIDELINES for 2021-2025”, but also spend their vacation time productively.
Participating in the “Student Police” program allows students to make a positive impact on society, enhance their personal development, and potentially improve their financial situation. This initiative demonstrates the importance of citizen involvement in crime prevention and the promotion of safety and security for all members of the community.
