9 suspects arrested in drug bust in Muğla
A joint anti-drug operation in Muğla seizes various drugs and results in arrests
A recent series of drug operations conducted in Muğla by the gendarmerie, police, and Coast Guard Command teams have resulted in a significant seizure of illegal substances. The operations, which took place between February 16-29 at 122 different locations, were carried out under the coordination of the chief public prosecutor’s offices.
During the operations, authorities were able to confiscate various drugs, 14 drug use devices, 207 synthetic drugs, 2 precision scales, 6 electronic scales, and a total of 102,465 liras in cash. In addition, 9 individuals who were taken into custody as a result of the operations have been sent to the courthouse and subsequently arrested.
The successful joint effort between law enforcement agencies highlights the ongoing commitment to combating the illegal drug trade in the region.
