Yalova Municipality Cracks Down on Begging in Public Areas
The Yalova Municipality recently issued a statement announcing that their Municipal Police Directorate teams have successfully caught a beggar in the vicinity of Pazarieri and Ido pier.
The beggar, identified as M.P., was taken into custody and during a search, authorities found a total of 164,125 pounds, 10 euros, and $5 in his possession. The money was later confiscated by the police, and six police officers were involved in the operation.
Legal action has been initiated against M.P. for obtaining money through begging activities. The municipality is cracking down on individuals who engage in illegal begging practices in public places.
