A Master and Turkish Melodies: A Concert in Famagusta
The State Opera and Ballet Coordination Center (TRNCDOB) held a special concert titled “A Master and Turkish Ezgileri” in Famagusta yesterday evening, delighting the audience with a beautiful performance.
The concert featured a selection of Turkish music and works by Turgay Erdener, with Murat Menket serving as the orchestra chief and pianist Esra Poyrazoğlu Alpan accompanying the performance. Turgay Erdener, a faculty member and composer at Maltepe University Conservatory, also shared insights about the music world during the event.
Sopranos Selva Erdener and Sermin Dikmen Töre, along with Baritone Tuğrul Enver Töre, took the stage and delivered captivating performances that captivated the audience.
The concert, which was prepared by TRNCDOB and supported by Telsim, was offered to the public free of charge. Audience members also had the opportunity to ask questions about TRNCDOB’s future programs, providing a glimpse into what’s to come from this talented group of musicians.
