Abu Dhabi to Host Inaugural Global Railway Infrastructure Forum
“Global Rail Infrastructure Exhibition and Conference Set to Take Place in Abu Dhabi”
Under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, the eagerly anticipated exhibition and conference “Global Rail Infrastructure” is scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi from October 8-10, 2024. This event, the first of its kind, is being organized by Etihad Rail, the developer and operator of the UAE national railway network, in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, ADNEC Group, and DMG Events, a leading organizer in the industry.
The theme of the event is “Building Transport Infrastructure and Global Connectivity in Motion,” and it aims to bring together leaders, strategists, and experts from the railway and transportation industry. Over 15,000 senior executives, thought leaders, 1,000 delegates, and more than 300 exhibiting companies from over 40 countries are expected to participate in the three-day event.
The program for Global Rail will consist of six thematic streams with more than 40 main sessions, panel discussions, and fireside talks, covering topics such as global trends in the railway industry, sustainable infrastructure, multimodal integration challenges, environmental impacts, regulatory frameworks, financing, logistics, and safety practices.
With over 120 speakers, including world politicians, government representatives, institutional leaders, and railway pioneers, the event aims to facilitate international dialogue and collaboration to create a more interconnected future for transportation.
