Accident Caused by Plastic Crate on Road
A multi-vehicle accident occurred at the TEM Highway Dilovası crossing in the direction of Istanbul. The incident was triggered when a car made a sudden maneuver to avoid hitting a plastic crate in the middle of the road, causing it to skid out of control.
The skidding car first collided with a truck next to it and then with a car in the left lane. Despite the chaos, the skidding car managed to come to a stop in the right lane of the road. Other drivers on the road quickly reacted and stopped their vehicles in the safety lane to prevent further accidents.
However, the chain reaction did not stop there. A truck traveling in the right lane ended up hitting the skidding car, which then collided with a passenger bus in the left lane. It was a miraculous escape for the occupants of the skidding car, as a last-minute maneuver by the driver narrowly prevented them from being run over by the truck.
The scene served as a stark reminder of the importance of safe driving practices and being alert on the road to avoid such potentially dangerous situations. Thankfully, there were no reports of serious injuries in this accident, but it serves as a cautionary tale for all drivers to stay vigilant behind the wheel.
