Accident in Bitlis leaves 8 injured as Two Cars Collide
Multiple Injured in Collision on Bitlis-Diyarbakır Road
A collision between two vehicles on the Bitlis-Diyarbakır road near the Industrial Estate has left multiple people injured. The accident occurred at an intersection when Emrullah Kılıç, in a car with license plate number 61 HB 248, and Bakır Yazı, in a car with license plate 13 AV 199, collided while approaching from opposite directions.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage in the accident, with a total of eight individuals, including four children, being injured. Promptly alerted by witnesses who saw the crash, numerous ambulances, as well as the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) and traffic teams, were swiftly dispatched to the scene.
Rescue efforts began immediately, and the injured were carefully extracted from the vehicles. After receiving initial medical interventions on-site, they were quickly transferred to the nearby Bitlis State Hospital via ambulances for further treatment.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances leading to the collision and determining the cause of the accident. Updates on the condition of the injured individuals are awaited, with hopes for their swift recovery.
