Aci Family Speaks Out Following Capture of Eylem Tok and Son

17-Year-Old Son of Dr. Bülent Cihantimur Caught in USA After Allegedly Causing Fatal Accident
Dr. Bülent Cihantimur’s 17-year-old son, TC, made headlines after allegedly causing a fatal accident in Kemerburgaz on March 1, 2024. The incident involved TC hitting the people who were pulling their broken-down ATV to the side of the road with a luxury car he was driving, resulting in the death of Oğuz Murat Aci. Following the accident, TC and his mother, Eylem Tok, fled to Egypt and then to the USA amidst speculation of kidnapping.
After approximately 3.5 months, a red notice was issued for the mother-son duo, and they were apprehended in the USA. Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç confirmed the capture, stating that Turkey had requested their extradition.
In response to the news, Oğuz Murat Aci’s family members expressed a mix of emotions. His father, Özer Aci, shared, “We cried and shed tears of joy upon hearing about his capture. This is just the beginning of the struggle for justice.” He emphasized the need for accountability and expressed his determination to see justice served.
Similarly, Pervin Aci, the mother of Oğuz Murat Aci, expressed relief after the capture, stating, “I cried a lot, now let them cry.” She reflected on the pain and suffering her family had endured and hoped for justice to prevail.
Oğuz Murat Aci’s wife, Şükriye Aci, also shared her feelings, stating, “I was surprised by the news of their capture, but it brought great relief. We will continue our fight for justice and ensure that they face the consequences of their actions.”
The family members of the victim are determined to seek justice and hold both TC and Eylem Tok accountable for their actions. The capture of the mother-son pair in the USA marks a significant development in the case, but the road to justice is far from over.
