President Erdoğan Steps in to Help Little Girl in Need of Treatment
A heartwarming story unfolded in Bitlis as President Erdoğan came to the aid of a young girl in need of medical treatment. Ada Koçyiğit, who had a balance disorder due to an eye misalignment after a head injury in 2018, was struggling to continue her treatment due to financial difficulties faced by her family. With three children to look after, the Koçyiğit family made a bold move and decided to reach out to President Erdoğan for assistance.
Father Musa and mother Ceylan Koçyiğit brought their daughters to the “Public and Private Sector Investments Mass Opening Ceremony” where President Erdoğan was in attendance. It was there that little Ada caught the attention of the President by unfurling a banner reading “Support my eye surgery, Grandpa Tayyip.” Touched by the young girl’s plea, President Erdoğan immediately took action by sending his doctor to attend to Ada and arranging for her treatment at Beyoğlu Eye Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul.
The Koçyiğit family expressed their gratitude towards President Erdoğan for his kind support. Father Koçyiğit shared his appreciation, “Thanks to our President who saw the banner. He immediately contacted his own doctor, then our Minister of Health came to us and contacted us. Our President did not remain silent and supported my daughter.”
Ada, filled with excitement about her upcoming treatment, remarked, “Grandpa Tayyip saw the banner I opened at the rally. After that, he gave me the necessary instructions and support for my treatment. Now, we will go to Istanbul with my mother and father. I will have an eye operation there and regain my health. I love my grandfather Tayyip very much.”
The Koçyiğit family is hopeful for a bright future and has also approached President Erdoğan for assistance with job opportunities to secure a stable future for their family and children. They express their sincerest gratitude and respect towards President Erdoğan for his compassionate gesture in helping Ada receive the medical treatment she desperately needed.
