Teacher Zeynel Kavak warned Yavuz to park his vehicle elsewhere, as it was obstructing the school’s entrance. Yavuz claimed that he had dropped off a parent at the school and refused to move his taxi. Frustrated by the situation, Kavak took a photo of the taxi as evidence.
This action seemed to anger Yavuz, who immediately exited his vehicle and began arguing with Kavak. The argument escalated, and the situation turned violent when Yavuz punched another teacher, Necmettin Uçar, who attempted to intervene and break up the fight.
As onlookers rushed to intervene, Yavuz managed to flee the scene in his taxi. Meanwhile, Necmettin Uçar was taken to Seyhan State Hospital by ambulance, where he received seven stitches on his eyebrow. Fortunately, he was later discharged.
Police were alerted about the incident and quickly apprehended Eyüp Yavuz. Upon investigation, it was discovered that Yavuz had a criminal record with six prior offenses, including charges for “negligent wounding,” “intentional wounding,” and “possession of an unlicensed weapon.”
In his statement to the police, Yavuz denied assaulting anyone, claiming that the teacher may have caused harm to himself and falsely accused him of assault. However, due to his prior convictions and the evidence against him, Eyüp Yavuz was taken to court and subsequently arrested.
