Advance payments given to organic farmers – BRTK
The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources recently announced that 15 producers engaged in organic farming have received entitlements. A total payment of 519,255 TL was distributed to these producers for area-based additional support and certificate fees for the year 2024.
This initiative aims to support and promote organic farming practices in the country. Producers who have received these entitlements will be able to collect their progress payments from the Cooperative Central Bank or from affiliated bank branches.
Organic farming is not only beneficial for the environment but also for consumers who prefer healthier and more sustainable food options. By supporting organic producers, the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources hopes to encourage more farmers to adopt organic farming practices in the future.
