AFAD delivers 71 billion lira to disaster victims
The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) has announced that a total of 71 billion 678 million 731 thousand 31 Turkish Lira has been delivered to disaster victims from the donation account, following the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş.
In a statement released on AFAD’s social media account, the organization stated, “We continue to stand by our citizens affected by the disaster of the century. As of December 15, 2023, out of 123 billion 963 million 984 thousand 430 TL collected in our donation account; 71 billion 678 million 731 thousand 31 TL will be allocated to shelter and shelter services. We delivered cash aid support to our citizens affected by the disaster. We are working tirelessly, with the strength we receive from our nation, and we are erasing the traces of the earthquake together. Turkey is one heart,”
