After 18 Years in Prison, His Actions in 2 Months Shocked Everyone
Following a series of theft incidents in Kale, Bahçelievler, and Gülabibey neighborhoods, the Provincial Police Department Public Security Branch Office Theft Bureau teams have launched an investigation.
After 22 days of thorough work, the teams identified the suspect as GS, who was released from prison about 2 months ago after serving 18 years. The suspect was apprehended by the teams at a regional traffic enforcement point in Çorum, where he arrived by bus from Amasya.
During the body search of GS, authorities seized 11,240 TL in cash. Upon further investigation of his residence, they found a stash of stolen items including watches, bags, gold necklaces, earrings, bracelets, phones, tablets, televisions, irons, women’s underwear, men’s suits, and binoculars.
The suspect is currently undergoing interrogation as the investigation continues.
