Air Astana Expands Flight Schedule and Revives Seasonal Routes
Air Astana, the national carrier of Kazakhstan, has announced the resumption of seasonal routes and increased flights to popular international destinations from Almaty and Astana. Starting from October 29, the airline will operate additional flights to cater to the growing demand.
During the winter period, Air Astana will offer five flights per week on the Almaty-Maldives route, as well as four charter flights per week on the Almaty-Sri Lanka route. This presents an excellent opportunity for travelers to explore these beautiful destinations during the holiday season.
Moreover, flights from Almaty to Bangkok will be increased from three to seven per week, while flights from Almaty to Phuket will increase from four to 11 per week. For travelers looking to explore India, Air Astana will operate 11 flights per week on the Almaty-Delhi route. Additionally, the airline will offer three flights per week on the Almaty-Jeddah route, providing convenient travel options for those visiting the holy city of Jeddah.
Furthermore, Air Astana has announced the introduction of one charter flight per week to Doha, Qatar, from both Almaty and Astana. This will provide travelers with more options for visiting the vibrant capital of Qatar.
In exciting news for Kazakh nationals, Air Astana has informed that they will not need a visa to travel to Thailand from autumn until February. This visa-free regime aims to promote travel and strengthen ties between the two countries. From November 10, the visa-free regime will also apply to travel to China, opening up more opportunities for Kazakh citizens to explore the rich culture and heritage of China.
