AK Party Reveals Izmir District Mayor Candidates for the 2024 Elections
President Erdogan has announced Hamza Dağ as the AK Party Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor candidate, as well as introduced the district mayor candidates of Izmir recently. The People’s Alliance in Izmir, which consists of the AK Party and MHP, has nominated candidates in 25 and 5 districts, respectively.
In the 2019 Izmir Local Election Results, the AK Party won 4 district municipalities in Izmir: Bergama, Kınık, Bayındır, and Kiraz, while the People’s Alliance partner MHP also secured the Aliağa district municipality.
Hamza Dağ, the AK Party Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor candidate, expressed his intention to elevate Izmir to its rightful place during the “AK Party Izmir District Mayor Candidates Promotion Meeting.” He emphasized the party’s commitment to providing the city with the quality service it deserves.
