AK Party Group President Abdullah Güler Visits İstanbul Deputy Sırrı Süreyya Önder in Hospital
Deputy Chairman of the Grand National Assembly and Dem Party Istanbul Deputy Sırrı Süreyya Önder was taken to the hospital on April 15 in the evening due to heart disease. Politicians have been visiting the leader during his time in the hospital, including AK Party Group President Abdullah Güler who also paid a visit to the hospital to receive information about Önder’s situation.
After the visit, AK Party Group President Abdullah Güler made a statement saying, “We met with the party deputies and the family. His situation and the 5-day waiting period with the doctors are crucial. We will wait and pray. As his daughter said, Sırrı Bey is a resilient person. Hopefully, he will overcome this hardship. People from all walks of life in our country express both sadness and prayers for Önder when I come in contact with them. He has left a good memory and a positive impact on our people and society. Everyone remembers him in that way. Hopefully, he will recover soon and we will continue our work together in parliament. Our President is closely monitoring the situation throughout the day. The AK Party Health Policies Responsible Vice President, Prof.Dr. Halit Yerebakan, who is a renowned heart surgeon, is also kept informed of the situation.
