AK Party Istanbul’s 8th Ordinary Provincial Congress to be held today
The AK Party provincial congresses are currently taking place, with district presidents and administrations being determined in various regions. In Istanbul, the focus is now on the AK Party Istanbul 8th Ordinary Provincial Congress.
The congress will be held at the Zeytinburnu Basketball Development Center starting at 15.00, with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan scheduled to attend. It is anticipated that the current AK Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman, Osman Nuri Kabaktepe, will hand over responsibilities to Abdullah Özdemir during the event.
Kabaktepe has extended an invitation to all Istanbul residents to join the congress and show their support. Abdullah Özdemir has stated that they will continue to build on their current work and introduce new initiatives in the upcoming period, expressing gratitude to Kabaktepe for his leadership.
With an estimated attendance of 10 thousand individuals, the AK Party Istanbul Provincial Congress is expected to have 600 delegates casting their votes.
